"I think you are on to something. It does appear that Obama has spent quite a bit of time being taught the Islamic faith. As well as, being taught a lot of information and details about the Islamic countries of the world, enough to know that there are 57 Islamic states.
It does appear that at some time in his life he has spoke the words, "my Muslim faith" enough times for it to be in his subconscious mind and slip out in an unguarded moment.
When a person uses only a limited part of their mental resources, things that are deeply ingrained in our memory come out unless we consciously think about what we are saying. Otherwise, the mouth can slip into "automatic" mode and unguarded, things can slip out.
Deep in Obama's memory is knowledge that there are 57 Islamic states ... when talking about the number of states the number of Islamic states slipped out by mistake ... Obama didn't even notice the error.
When talking about religious faith Obama automatically said "my Muslim faith" and didn't notice the error until the interviewer brought it to his attention.
In both instances, Obama's speech betrayed him."
